Kind Hearts Bloom is a nonprofit organization founded by Kristen, the creator of Bestside Blooms. Its mission is to foster kindness, mental wellness, and community connection through gardening and flowers.
-
While Bestside Blooms continues as a social enterprise offering beautiful flowers and services, Kind Hearts Bloom focuses on community-building programs, like teaching neighbors to grow flowers and donating blooms to brighten lives across Grand Rapids.
-
We wanted to expand the ways we can serve our community by focusing on education, mental wellness, and accessibility. A nonprofit structure allows us to host programs, apply for grants, and partner with other organizations to create a bigger impact.
-
There are so many ways to help us grow! You can:
Volunteer at a Neighborhood Blooms garden or workshop.
Donate to support our programs.
Follow us on social media to share our mission.
Spread the word to friends and family about what we’re doing.
